We’ve been here and there and everywhere! Well, doctor offices mainly.

Tuesday the kiddos had their dental check-up. Our kids LOVE the dentist. I’m not kidding, you would think they were going on vacation, they are THAT excited. Their teeth are good and healthy, so that’s really all that matters. But we did make the dentist’s day cause they were so excited to be there :0).

Later that day we spent roughly 3 hours at the local health center…… absolutely insane! Baby K was still sick and the Dr. wanted her to come back in. Two hours, TWO hours before we even got in the exam room! INSANE!! Needless to say I talked to my coordinator and she finally got ahold of the case worker and they gave us the okay to switch her. Woohoo! We weren’t allowed to before because of all her conditions but now since she’s better we can. THANK YOU!! Anyways, we left there with 2 new meds and having to start up one we have at home…. back to the grind ;0). On the bright side she is doing much much better!

Wed. and Thurs. were rough. Baby K had a fever and was just overall cranky and uncomfortable. Oh and Jarod was home because he was getting his car all fixed… he’s a happy camper now. But it did help that he was home those two days :0).

Friday, I went to the dentist and according to my dentist, my “teeth are boring”…. which is good when it comes to the dentist. BUT they would really like me to floss, but I hate flossing and the dental assistant was in awe that I don’t floss. “Could have fooled her”, she said.

That brings us to today. Kyla woke up this morning not feeling so good. Her legs and belly were feverish but not her head… weird. She finally got up around 11:30 and showed me a couple bumps on her ankle that itched… looked like bug bites, no biggie……. yeah right! About an hour later Jarod and Preston got home and she showed him her bumps. I took a look again at them and low-and-behold she has red bumps going all up her legs on her belly, back and arms. Call the pediatrician, they think it’s an allergic reaction to the Amox that she was on for her ears. They had us come in anyways. Got there, the Dr. comes in, isn’t sure and goes and gets another Dr., they both are sure. They leave the room to discuss a plan and then one of them comes back in. They think it’s a viral rash but aren’t sure. So for now we stopped the Amox and are treating the fever and we’ll go back on Tues. It really really resembles a Strep rash(she’s had that before), even her throat was red but she was already on an antibiotic so who knows. Though tonight, she asked to go to bed and now has a runny, stuffy nose and a cough………… interesting!

On a good note Preston played awesome at Soccer this morning, his last game. Though I missed it because of sick kids. But here he is with his medal:
