So it’s been a week or so…. let’s see:

We had Little X until the 4th. I drove him back to his original Foster Home. They were really sweet and happy to see him. Hopefully he doesn’t give them too much grief. He made some huge strides while here and I really hope he keeps moving forward!

It was a testing two weeks as he was a handful, especially with 3 other kiddos. But by the end he was starting to get easier to juggle.

This weekend was a busy one for us. Friday we visited with some friends and then I took X home. Kyla and Preston stayed at Dawn’s house(Thanks!) and Jarod picked them up… or was suppose to. After dropping X off I headed home but ended up back at Dawn’s. We hung out while the kids played and eventually had pizza for dinner. It was a fun night but it wasn’t over yet ;0). After getting home and getting the kids in bed I took off to JoAnna’s house for a little celebration of being back down to 3 kids. It was a nice night that I really needed. Thanks Jo!!

Saturday after I got home Jarod went golfing for the first time in, well, since I’ve known him. He had a blast and can’t wait to do it again!

Sunday we cleaned up the yard and finally got the playroom settled, it looks good. It took us all night but we got it rearranged and the toys all set up… woohoo!!

Today, we had a couple friends over and had a little end of the season BBQ. The kids cooked their own hotdogs and even made s’mores…. Jarod cooked steak tips, which he did over the fire pit, which also allowed for the kiddos to do their own cooking :0). Preston and Kyla hopped in the pool while the others tested it out but decided it was a bit to cold… which it was! It was a nice relaxed afternoon with good company and good food. Thanks guys!

After everyone left we cleaned up the yard and covered the pool. Getting things done early this year since we’re heading off to Disney World soon. Everyone is sooo excited to go. It’s gonna be awesome!

Tomorrow I take Baby K in for her 1 year check up. So that should be an interesting morning considering we have to still go to the Health Center.
