Wilson’s World

So no word from the Dr. yet. Baby K’s Dr. wasn’t in today so I have to call back tomorrow and hopefully get good news that we can start the process of getting her off the monitor.

We had a pretty dead day today. I think I’m a bit worn out from our crazy past few days.

Tomorrow we need to go to Costco and get some yummy food. I need to finish up my 3rd assignment from my photo class. I finally found the part of info I was looking for so I could finish it. Then I need to read the 4th assignment, cause I’m a week behind. But it’s okay, he hasn’t even finished critiquing the 2nd assignment :0). I’m learning a whole lot though :0)!!

Oh, we’re suppose to get some more snow the rest of this week. Hopefully no school closures. I need some quiet time!!

Ah and I read tonight that Denny’s is giving away free Grand Slam breakfasts tomorrow from 6am to 2pm…. go get one!!!

Alright, so I told you about Thursday. Friday I got home around 11:30, had to pick up Kyla from Jarod’s work. Luckily a friend picked up Preston from school and fed him lunch. She then brought him over along with her son and dropped them off at the house so she could run an errand. I was able to get some cleaning done, which was great since the house really needed it.

That evening I went over to JoAnna’s house for a Mom’s Night Out. We had a karaoke night. It was a lot of fun! We were up to the wee hours of the morning singing. There were 8 of us and everyone had a good time. I stayed the night at JoAnna’s… being responsible and safe :0).

Now Saturday. I finally got home around 1…. it was a long night ;0). Preston’s friend Chandler was just getting there, so my timing was perfect, ha :0). Anyways, the boys had a blast playing Lego Star Wars on the Wii. Then around 4 I loaded all the kids up and headed over to Lisa’s house. She has two boys, one is a little younger then Preston and the other is a little younger then Kyla. She had a little pizza party. All the kids had fun. It was all boys except for Kyla and another little girl. Kyla, after getting comfortable fit right in with the boys and light sabers. The other little girl isn’t use to all the ruckus of the boys she hung around with us Moms :0). It was a fun night. The kids were busy and didn’t need me and I had fun hanging out with the Moms!

Today, Jarod had baseball practice…. or that’s what I’ll call it. I slept in as long as I could :0). After I finally got up and cleaned a little bit we headed out to the sports store to pick up Preston a Hockey stick and gloves. He needs this to move to the other end of the rink…. he’s ready! I’ll really try to get a video of him next week.

After the sports store we headed over to Friendly’s, a family restaurant. The kids love it because they get ice cream, it’s part of the kids’ meals. It was a good night and we got some good family time since I’ve been all over the place the past few days.

This week will be my catch-up week. I need to go through the house room-by-room and clean it REALLY good. It’ll be a lot of work but well worth it!
