…. where have I been the last few days. Hmmm, let me see:

I had a training for Foster Care. It was really good. I have another one next week too. And Friday JoAnna and I made it to the mall at like 9:30 to try out Stroller Strides. All I have to say is BOY are my legs sore today. I think I might get a punch card and try to go at least once a week. It’s a good little work out and fun, so we’ll see.

Today, I got up early and headed over to SerahRose’s house to help her move. Her and another Mom friend got a house together so they are moving this week. She had WAY more stuff then she thought so we loaded my car up with a bunch of stuff while the movers were filling up the 1st load in the truck. I had Baby K with me and she was really good the whole time. Their new house is sooo nice, it’s very cute, I’m excited for them. Can’t wait for the housewarming party :0)!

While I was doing that Jarod took Preston and Kyla to hockey. Then we met for lunch, which worked out really well since I was just down the street from where they were… it was an unplanned lunching :0). After that Jarod took Preston to get some warmer socks for hockey and I took the girls to Home Depot to pick up a few things to help get the house ready.

We then all came home and then I took Preston and Kyla, along with our friends Dawn and D_ to Plaster Fun time. The kids had SO much fun.  We’ll definitely be going back. Here’s what they painted:

After painting Dawn and I took the kids over and got ice cream :0). Then we headed home as Jarod and Preston were invited to attend a local Hockey game.

Busy day!!

Today we looked at more houses in the area. One was a no way, it needed to much updating and it didn’t really suite us. The other was better, Jarod really liked it but after he thought about it it isn’t quite the house we want to make our ‘forever’ home in. So the search continues. But don’t get me wrong we still have the first house that started all of this at the top of our list.

Our realtor also stopped by today to walk-thru our house and work on pricing so that we could hopefully sell it. I was a bit nervous to see what the numbers would be, especially in this market. But I have to say it was good news!!! We are going to be able to price it at what we need so that we can buy another house. Yay!! Now hopefully we can sell it at the price we need :0)!!

Now it’s on to getting a storage shed and starting to clean-out the house so it can show nicely to potential buyers. OH, which reminds me, there are NO houses in our area in our home’s price range…. good for us… hopefully!!!

Today I got up at 6:30! Why? I don’t really know. Got up to feed Baby K and then just stayed up because the dishes needed to be done and Preston had Hockey. It was nice to be up with just Preston for a while and I think he enjoyed it too!

We all went to hockey and I went into the box(I think that’s what it’s called :0) with Preston to get some hopefully good photos…. there’s still uploading. He’s doing good. Only has 4 classes left so I’m interested to see how much he improves. Oh and he still loves it.

After hockey I met a friend and we went up to Make & Take. It was nice to get out of the house and Jarod was awesome enough to offer to watch Baby K so I didn’t have to take her with me. THANKS Babe!! While there I made a friend a meal since she’s due with her second child here in a couple of weeks OR according to her, next week ;0). She had a little party tonight where a few of use brought over some meals and chit-chatted/laughed the night away, it was fun. Good luck Alison!!

SO, we’ve finally decided, after 3 years to actually move!

Our focus for now will be to get our house ready to put on the market and then to actually sell it. We may have to move into a rental for a bit of time but that’s okay. Our next house is going to be our “forever” house. When we bought this one, it was temporary and we really haven’t made it “home” yet. We’ve done some work on it but it’s never felt quite like home. Which is probably why I’ve always kept an eye out for another house.

The market is bad, we are fully aware. But one’s gotta try, right?! You never know ;0)!

We plan on staying in the same town and we’ll keep looking until we get the house that we want. For now all we want is to sell our home and still be able to buy another one.

So we finally had a puke free day, yay!!!

We also did not take in another child today. She had to be placed in a medical home, the Foster Mom needs to be a Nurse. So as far as this afternoon, I believe DSS was still looking. Hopefully they find a good home for her. She was a little baby that had been shook and as a result is blind. So sad.

We had a lazy, quiet day. It was nice!! :0)

Tonight I’m heading out to a local pool hall to play free pool with the ladies :0)

So just when I thought we were in the clear Baby K came down with the stomach bug. Not until about 11, Pamela, the Early Intervention Nurse was here. She puked a couple times but was still her happy content self! Then JoAnna came over and braved the puke(love ya) to hang out and watch the kiddos while Jarod and I went to check out a house.

The house:

It was well worth the trip. Lots of room, WAY more then we have now. Plus a 3 car garage, mater bath, above-ground pool and 4 acres. The only down side is there is a lot of cosmetic work to be done inside, which is pry the reason it’s been on the market for almost 2 years. Yeah, 2 YEARS. Plus the super duper high asking price they started out with. Now is on it’s way to foreclosure and the price has been dropped drastically. OH, it also has a free standing garage up by the road that is big enough to house our trailer…. score! It also only has 3 bedrooms but the bedrooms are not our concern it’s the main floor that we need more space in and it has it!! The other thing that I’m not to keen on is that this pretty picture is not what you see when you drive in, the house faces the forest! You drive up to the garage….. I think I could get over that though :0). Anyways, Jarod and I have some discussing to do to see what we think. We really haven’t had any time to talk about it.

Okay, back to puking Baby K. Not only did she puke a few times but she had a huge toss-the-clothes-there’s-no-way-I’m-washing-that blowout! It was down the leg all the way to her toes! It was gross and the smell alone almost knocked me and JoAnna out……. it was BAD!!!!! She’s asleep now so hopefully she’s better in the morning.

Oh and speaking of the morning, there is a potential that we may be getting another child tomorrow. But we won’t know until tomorrow….. gotta love DSS and their last minute doings!

So last night was Preston’s turn. He went to bed saying his tummy didn’t feel good. He made himself a “bed” on the floor. A couple hours later the make shift bed went into the washer! He spent all night puking and asking for a new bag for the puke bucket. He then slept until about 4pm today. When he got up, I had him take a bath and then the ate a waffle. Now he’s watching cartoons with his sister.

Hopefully this in the end of it. I felt off today so just laid around and rested. I feel better now.

Now I just need to clean the house as our friends are coming over tomorrow. We were suppose to go somewhere today but that obviously didn’t happen. Hopefully we can go on Friday. Anyways, while JoAnna is here tomorrow Jarod and I are gonna meet our Realtor at a house to take a look. It has a lot of what we would like and it’s had a drastic mark down so maybe we can snag it. Though then poses the problem of selling our house….. one thing at a time :0)!

Anyways back to resting, Jarod should be home soon!

So last night we went to grab dinner at Subway. We were done ordering and just about to bring the food to the table when Kyla does one-of-those I’m gonna puke coughs! Well, she did. I caught it in my hand, covered her mouth and went for the closest door, outside. She finished her bout in the parking lot and then hung out in the car while we ate…. don’t worry, we were in the car too.

I thought she might have had some bad yogurt as she was pretty persistent about going to Target still. Using my new awesome stroller was fantastic, I LOVE it! Anyways, she was okay and we finished our trip and made it home. She was fine until about 3am when she puked again, then a couple hours later, then around noon and then around 3pm. Since then she’s been good. Oh, here is a photo of Kyla’s Valentine’s Day: iPhoto is updating so I’ll post a photo soon… check back!

Preston on the other hand was up bright and early checking out what Santa, oh wait, what he got for Valentine’s Day. He got a DS game, Mario… like old school Mario and he loves it! Oh, I should mention Kyla got a V-Smile Pocket. That way she has a “DS” like Preston :0). They also got some play – doh…. and I just remembered I had got them some candy but forgot where I put it, hmm hopefully I find it soon :0).

Dad got a new computer monitor. It’s to replace the tv downstairs to free up more room, so the playroom/office isn’t so cramped. It should work out well and he was excited to open it as he wasn’t sure which one I got him……. go me :0).

As for me, I got to get away for a couple hours. Got a massage and hair cut. It was nice and relaxing!! Then for dinner we had some awesome Mexican food… yuuummmmyyy!!!

Baby K got a baby drum since she like to randomly hit things :0). She also got some new(and used, thanks Tammie!) clothes.

It was a good day. Happy V-day everyone!!

Also, talked to Baby K’s attorney. She’ll be with us for a while. Parent’s have to get into a program before any transitioning can happen so it’s still a day-by-day case. Good think I’m flexible :0)
