So I’m tired! Just thought I would let you all know that :0).
After Joshua left yesterday we headed home for a bit and then off to the Chevy dealer to get a oil change, had a coupon :0). Then I took Preston and Kyla to Pizza Hut for lunch, his favorite! After that we made a Costco stop and then on to home where I did some well needed cleaning. That evening I got the kids in the bath and such when my friend came over. She hung out with Preston while I got Kyla in bed. Preston decided out of the blue to read her a book. Yes, he read the book TO her. He did a GREAT job!! After he was done he went upstairs and watched a movie in our room so JoAnna and I could have Mom time.
We were suppose to do some more learning of the Tarot cards but never got to it :0)! We had a couple “adult” drinks and talked the night away. It was a fun night! It’s been really great getting to know her better as the more we talk the more we realize how much alike we are and how much we have in common. It’s been awesome also in the aspect that we both are pretty much up for trying anything so we’ve made some fun trips over the past few weeks and have more planned for the next few weeks :0).
Alright, on to today!
We had a playgroup at the house today but it ended up being more of a playdate with JoAnna and her boys as she was the only attendee. We hopped in the pool for a bit, had watermelon and played on the swing set. It was a nice relaxed morning.
After lunch we headed over to the trailer place and got the trailer. Luckily they got it all fixed up yesterday. Meaning they put in a new Hot Water Tank. But at least it was only $480 instead of $800…. I’ll take that. So now it’s home and I have time to get it all packed before we leave for the Cape next week! We’re looking forward to this vacation as this will be our first camping experience in a resort type campground with full hook-ups, meaning we’ll have water, electric and sewer hook-ups. No having to watch how much water we’re using, limiting our bathroom use and no showering in the public showers. Yay a home-away-from-home!
