Tired

So I’m tired! Just thought I would let you all know that :0).

After Joshua left yesterday we headed home for a bit and then off to the Chevy dealer to get a oil change, had a coupon :0). Then I took Preston and Kyla to Pizza Hut for lunch, his favorite! After that we made a Costco stop and then on to home where I did some well needed cleaning. That evening I got the kids in the bath and such when my friend came over. She hung out with Preston while I got Kyla in bed. Preston decided out of the blue to read her a book. Yes, he read the book TO her. He did a GREAT job!! After he was done he went upstairs and watched a movie in our room so JoAnna and I could have Mom time.

We were suppose to do some more learning of the Tarot cards but never got to it :0)! We had a couple “adult” drinks and talked the night away. It was a fun night! It’s been really great getting to know her better as the more we talk the more we realize how much alike we are and how much we have in common. It’s been awesome also in the aspect that we both are pretty much up for trying anything so we’ve made some fun trips over the past few weeks and have more planned for the next few weeks :0).

Alright, on to today!

We had a playgroup at the house today but it ended up being more of a playdate with JoAnna and her boys as she was the only attendee. We hopped in the pool for a bit, had watermelon and played on the swing set. It was a nice relaxed morning.

After lunch we headed over to the trailer place and got the trailer. Luckily they got it all fixed up yesterday. Meaning they put in a new Hot Water Tank. But at least it was only $480 instead of $800…. I’ll take that. So now it’s home and I have time to get it all packed before we leave for the Cape next week! We’re looking forward to this vacation as this will be our first camping experience in a resort type campground with full hook-ups, meaning we’ll have water, electric and sewer hook-ups. No having to watch how much water we’re using, limiting our bathroom use and no showering in the public showers. Yay a home-away-from-home!

Homeward Bound

Sorry! Joshua did go home yesterday!

We got up early and got him to the bus by 8am. He was REALLY quiet and ready to go see his Mom :0). Cynthia called me that afternoon to let me know he arrived and all is going well. I’ll call her here in a bit to make sure I got all of his stuff in his bag!

Our friends are having a very rare happening. Their FAF child didn’t want to leave and even after arriving home is VERY sad that he can’t come back right now! Though since the FAF is a wonderful program they are working on maybe getting back out here next month. This is very rare and he his very worked up about not being to come back right now. It’s really neat that he had such a wonderful time but it also has to be so hard on his family and Dawn’s family! We’ll see what happens.

I did take photos of the depature but I forgot my card so they are on my internal memory which means I have to find the cable. And of course I have NO idea where it is!!
