a layed back first day

Our first full day with Joshua here :0)!

He must have been exhausted as we had to wake him up at 11:00am…. our kind of kid :0)! After Joshua got up and ate a bit we went swimming for a while. Preston was his crazy self in the pool and Joshua slowly warmed up to venturing out into the pool. Once he got comfortable with knowing he could touch the bottom he got braver and braver :0)

Also while outside, our friendly dragonflies were all around the pool. Therefore Preston was out trying to touch them and before we knew it, they were landing on him.

Soon Kyla and Joshua were joining in, they had a fun experience with the Dragonflies!

After swimming we had some lunch and then hung out inside for a bit. It looked like it was going to rain, it didn’t. The boys played for a bit and then I left to get my hair cut or maintained I should say. While I was gone they got to play Crash on the Xbox. After I got back we went out front and played basketball, rode bikes and even saw a frog.

Soon they were back in the pool again!! The pool was a big hit today :0). They did get out for a little bit and swung on the swings while I got dinner going. Though after dinner they did convince Jarod to get in one more time! The “boys” had a lot of fun!

Not sure what we’re doing tomorrow but I do know in the evening we have a FAF event in Westford, One Stop Fun. We get to use the climbing structure and the pool, so that should be fun! Until then they may spend all day in our pool :0)!

So Jarod updated my WordPress site(the blog) and there are some things that aren’t working right, such as the comments, catagories and archives. He’ll get them fixed asap :0)
