So I just got done with my latest project. Okay, not done but halfway. I just finished up the first coat of paint in Preston’s room. Red! He’s been wanting it red for about a year now and I just haven’t gotten to it. But since J_ is coming on Friday and he’s a little older then Preston he might be a bit more aware of the fact that Preston’s room is/was pink. Yes, pink! When we moved in he liked the color pink and wanted the pink room. He doesn’t complain about it now but I’ve been wanting to paint it for some time and just haven’t. Now I have! It looks good but needs another coat, I have to get another brush and I might have it done before J_ gets here but maybe not :0).
Right now Preston is sleeping on the top bunk of sister’s bed, talk about handy. We still need to go get his bunk bed. Soon.
I’m hoping we get our stimulus check soon. Yeah, we haven’t gotten ours yet. They had to mail it because of something on the TurboTax… I don’t know that’s Jarod’s deal. All I know is that we are one of the last people to get one in the mail…. woohoo us! With all the expenses we’ve had lately it’ll be nice to have the extra money.
Speaking of expenses. Still haven’t heard anything from the liability people. Last I talked to her she had to talk to the technician and then they had to decide who was liable. Fun, the waiting game! I called and left a message with her yesterday and I’ll pry call tomorrow too. I’m hoping we figure out who is liable before I have to dish out the $900 for the carpet/flood bill. And that was cheap!!!!
Oh we did have some fun today. We went to Jump On In in Lowell, MA for our FAF fudnraiser. We had a good, not great, turnout and the kids had fun. Well Kyla had an okay time. I think she had “jumping” flashbacks and had a random meltdown and didn’t want to do anything. Speaking of, her eye is looking much better!
We’re off to a Bday playgroup tomorrow and then some cleanup of the house!
