Tonight was exciting! I called C_, J_’s Mom from the Fresh Air Fund, just to say hi and see how everyone is doing. The timing was right and the boys got to talk on the phone!!! Preston was SO excited he didn’t know what to say. Then after I left the room they got to talking. C_ said J_’s older brother asked him who he was talking to and he said “my family!”. Too cute :0). This is getting more exciting as we get closer and as we get to know the family more! Can’t wait!!!

As for the rest of today we had a playgroup here today. Jarod had a conference in Boston so it was just me and the kids. Our friend Kyle and her daughter came over for a lazy sun filled afternoon. It was nice! I don’t get to see her very often cause she works full time but I usually see her at our Mom Night Out events. I think it was the first time I saw her daughter in months, she’s only about a week or so younger then Kyla. It was a greally good afternoon. Preston went swimming, but when does he not!

Oh and speaking of Preston, he lost his Mooses the other day. For those who don’t know, he has two Lovey’s, his Mooses. They are green, oh let me see if I can find a link…..ha even better a photo from ebay:

They are odd and everyone thinks they are dragons but whatever. Anyways, he lost them Thursday and went to bed last night without them though tonight was different! In his own words, with tears rolling down his cheeks, “I really miss my moosies”. It was so sad! So of course Mom went on the hunt of a lifetime to find those dang things. And where were they, in his dress up bin! Kyla probably put them there, crazy sister. So he’ll wake up to find his mooses in his bed safe and sound. Mom saved the day once again!
