Today was a good day! We got up early picked up Preston’s friend J_ and made our way to Charmingfare Farm in Candia, NH. The boys talked nonstop all the way up there, about a 40 minute drive. They are pretty much best friends, from school…. don’t worry Misty, Chandler is still #1 too ;0)! All three couldn’t wait to feed ALL the animals. We started with the Llamas and spent a lot of food on the Reindeer, then we made our way, a little to fast as Preston walked face first into a tree, to the Goat Barn. He’s okay, but was pretty shaken up form it. He’s got some good scratches(blotches) on his nose, eye and forehead. Plus his nose is a bit swollen on the left side. He hit that tree pretty hard! After I got him calmed down and talked out of wanting to go home he enjoyed petting the baby goats(his favorite) and we then made our rounds on the Pony and a Tractor Ride. We then finished wondering around and saw all the animals. J_ couldn’t wait to see the bears and Preston loved climbing the rock! Kyla really liked feeding the Reindeers. Everyone had a great time and on the way out we hit McDonald’s for some ice cream. Love their cones, I haven’t had one in FOREVER!
We then returned to J_’s house and played there for a while. They live around the corner from us and Preston can’t wait to go over again and go swimming. I think he really likes it there because J_ has 4 siblings, he’s the youngest and the middle 3 are girls so Preston get’s a lot of attention, and so does Kyla. Preston really loves to interact with other kids. He absolutely can’t wait for J_ from the Fresh Air Fund to arrive. Plus I’ve already started talking to him about another child staying with us(Foster Care) and he is SOOOO excited. We’ll see how that goes once he’s sharing his room ;0).
