Friday was Preston’s last day of school! They had an art show that evening. He orginally didn’t want to go to his art show because he “didn’t want to wear a fancy dress”. But after we explained he didn’t have to wear a dress he was all up for it ;0). It was really cute. All the kids had their art out on display in one room and the other room was snacks and slide shows. But I think Preston’s favorite part was when his babysitter A_ arrived(she’s his classmate’s older sister).
Saturday he had soccer at 8am, way too early! He did good and had fun. Oh and because his first game of the season was canceled do to rain they will be making it up next week. So one more game!
Today, Jarod had a double header and his team won both games. He got home later then expected but we did get another section of the swing set up and he did get all the tiles for the bathroom cut! So proud! We should be done with the floor(pasting the tiles) tomorrow night. We’ll also start grouting it tomorrow night and hopefully be done by Tuesday night(after MAPP Training).
OH, Jarod also is going to try and go to work earlier so he can get home earlier. This is huge if you know what a non-morning person he is. We’ll see how his first week goes :0)!
We also got in the pool this weekend. I almost have it all done. The water is still a bit cloudy but I got all the leaves cleaned out and vacuumed, it’s looking SOOOOOO much better then when we first took off the cover!!
Tuesday we are having Playground Chips delivered for the swing set. It will really make it look nice and make it safe. Especially since our dirt is SO rocky. It’s like a river bed… crazy!
I spent an hour or so on our photo site only to have it crash for some unknown reason and I forgot to save it so I lost it all and haven’t gotten around to redoing it!
What else……. Preston’s been riding his bike everyday and is getting really good. He is now riding on the lawn, turning with no problems and standing up as he peddles. I told Jarod he is going to have to take him to the Rail Trail so they can ride their bikes together :0).
