So last night was my first Tyngsboro Recreation Meeting. It was fun… does that make me weird :0)? The first part was intense due to some conflict with some townspeople and a proposed project but I think that was the funnest part :0). There was another woman there that I had met before, her daughter goes to the same school as Preston, different time though. Anyways, we talked after the meeting and have the same ideas and reasons for joining the committee. So hopefully we can pull together and work on those. I did “jump right in” and volunteer to organize something for next year. Wish me luck!! There is a lot of BIG stuff that they are working on so as I get more into it I’ll talk to A_ and see how to get my ideas in there. They are very relaxed and I think wasn’t on someone’s mail list so hopefully that will change the communication issue, we’ll see….
Before all that we ran up and back to Nashua like 3 times. Had to get M&M’s for Preston’s Ice Cream Social at school - first trip. Went to the library and then to the pool store to get a new filter cartridge for our pool - second trip. Got home and the filter was the wrong size, went to Preston’s Ice Cream Social and then back to the pool store to get the right size filter - third trip. On the up side, the pool is filtering MUCH better!!
TODAY:
Started working on getting the leaves out of the pool, only to have the net break after the second scoop… another trip to the pool store. There’s a lot! I think they got in when we were taking the tarp off, oh well, gotta get them out. That’s my goal for tomorrow! Speaking of tomorrow, it’s Preston’s LAST day at Pre-K, WOW!! They have an art show tomorrow evening, I’ll take lots of photos and will hopefully figure out how to get them uploaded ASAP, there’s a size issue.
