Last night was Mom’s Night Out. A few of us Moms went over to another Mom’s house and had Game Night. Game Night usually consists of a few different games, lots of talking/laughing, eating and drinking. Last night was nice, I didn’t drive, therefore I didn’t have to watch the clock or how much I drank… thanks for driving Pamela!! We only made it through two games… we were quite chatty, blame the Mojitos :0). Everyone had a blast though!!
Preston had soccer this morning, my camera battery was dead… sorry! He did good. He’s really trying to be a team player and pass the ball but the problem is is that his teammates don’t know he’s trying to pass the ball. He’s going to be a defensive player or the keeper, we’ve pretty much determined that. Either way he’ll take after Mom(keeper) and Dad(sweeper)! Not that we are training him to take after us(and our positions) that’s just where his interest is. I think he’ll be a keeper(or maybe I’m hoping :0) as he loves to be one at home when we play…. we’ll see, he’s got a few years before they use keepers.
After soccer we went to lunch and then looked at patio furniture, didn’t like any and then onto Jarod’s boss’s house to check out and get measurements of the swing set we are getting from them. It’s actually smaller then we both remember, which is fine, easier to take a part. And on that it doesn’t look very hard to take apart, all ratchet screws. Preston is REALLY excited now… they got to play on it while we took measurements. Now it’s on to our yard to figure out exactly where we want to put it and get the site ready!
