So just when I say I’ll try and post more we all get sick and I mean ALL of us.
Between viruses, stomach bugs and the flu we’ve all been hit since Wednesday.
Once I have the stamina to type more I’ll update on our fabulous week we just had… yeah right ;0).
We’re still standing still waiting to hear about the law.
With thinking about moving we’re okay with the wait. Like I tell everyone, we’re not in a hurry.
So haven’t I been a slacker! Let’s see what’s going on in our lives.
Last week we ended the month with a trip to Chuck E Cheese’s with some friends. The kids had a blast. Preston can’t wait to go back. Kyla was very unsure about the Chuck E Cheese figure but by the end wave by to it.
Her favorite was a horse ride… of course. It was a mock derby race, here is a pic:
She rode this horse over and over and over again!
Preston on the other hand loved the simulator rides. You know, roller coaster and such… along with the gun games and such. Guns and boys, what do you do!
Before CEC we went to the gym. Yes, the gym! I’m back going to a gym and it’s really great. The kid area is a lot of fun, Preston loves it and Kyla is getting use to it. Right now I’m only getting in a couple of days a week but hopefully will up that here soon.
What else….
Oh, I finally go the kids to take a photo together at a studio… and it was free! We were in Babies R Us and they announced that they would give away a free 8X10 photo, so we made our way over there and got one!
Yeah, Preston’s face is covered by Kyla’s hair but it’s the only one we could get her to smile in! Plus it’s just funny that her hair is long enough to cover anything ;0)
Oh, last Friday a friend a spa party at her house. It was great! I got a pedicure and a hot scalp treatment. They were both really good. The lady did a good job in releasing the pressure in my feet and neck.
We also attended a Bday party for one of Preston’s school friends on Saturday. The kids had a lot of fun and it was really nice for him to spend time with his school friends, especially since Kindergarten starts next year and he won’t see his Mom’s Group friends as much. Most of the kids there will be in his Kindergarten class. Everyone there was really nice, it was a great group of kids and parents. I look forward to seeing them more.
Other than that we haven’t been up to too much.

Oh, we did go and look at some houses this weekend. New ones. They were still in construction and the space was nice. The town is a bit further out so we’ll see. We’re just looking around right now to get an idea of what we want and where we want. Then we’ll move forward.
