As most of you know I’ll be turning 30 next Sunday but since it is way to close to Xmas I decided to celebrate it this last weekend and boy did we :0)!

About 6 of us girls went out for a night on the town in Boston. We even rented a hotel and everything :0). We left on Saturday about 12:30ish and after roughly 10 tries to get out and up our driveway Alison succeeded…. we had some snow issues :0). We then got to our hotel Mariott Long Wharf in Boston, right on the water next to the Aquarium, it was really nice… good job me :0). And after figuring out the valet parking they let us check-in early and even gave us a huge room along with our other room. We quickly settled in and as soon as Jessie(she lives in the city unlike us other country bumkins) arrived we set out for lunch. We ended up at Wagamamas, I have no idea if I spelled that right, it was full of Asian noodle dishes that were really good and we all did GREAT with our chopsticks.

After lunch we wondered around the little shops, which reminded me of Pike Place Market in Seattle, but a lot less sketchy. We found some yummy cookies and such and then made our way back to the hotel and hung out for a while and then enjoyed the pool and hot tub, WITHOUT kiddos!! We then made our way back to our rooms to get ready for our big night on the town.

After getting ready and doing our hair, I got a new hair cut ;0) we headed out to the North End and wandered up and down the street and finally decided on a little Italian Cafe, that had an awesome Shrimp Scampi and wine!

We then headed out the bars! Our first stop had no cover so we were all over that. Had a couple of drinks, laughed at some people dancing and then headed out to another bar that had dancing and boy did we dance! Somebody said we danced for like 4+ hours and my legs are telling me all about today! We all had a blast dancing, laughing and making fools of ourselves…. it was awesome :0)! There was even another girl whose name was Jamie that was celebrating her Birthday too!

After our great workout we made our way back to the hotel, where we all crashed throughout the room but not before we ordered pizza at 3:00am. After a slice of cold pizza we crashed in our beds and woke up to a storm, which we new was coming. Since it was so icky out we checked out and had brunch in the over priced hotel restaurant but it was good!

We then got ourselves in the car and headed back to the country :0). But since the storm had come and dumped inches beyond inches of snow and it was Sunday the plows were more interested in listening to the Pats play then plow the roads….. so it took us a while to get home but we were safe at our speedy 45mph.

But luckily for the girls that parked at my house, which is the general meeting area because we’re so close to the highway, my fantastic husband had already got out and snow blowed the driveway(the snow was taller than the blower) and he even cleaned the snow off and around their cars!!!!! I think he deserves a medal, especially since all the other husbands were complaining that they couldn’t do anything about the snow because they had the KIDS!! What a stupid thing to say to stay-at-home Mom’s!!!

Anyways, it was an AWESOME time with AWESOME friends…… THANKS everyone!!

Oh, I don’t have any pix yet because I didn’t take my camera but I’ll be getting some from Jen, then I’ll post them
