Let’s see…
Yesterday evening we ran to Tewksbury, MA to pick up an early Birthday present for Preston, an art desk! He was very excited to get it and has already used it this morning. We set it up last night in Jarod’s office, which is now 1/4 Jarod’s office and 3/4 Preston’s space. He has his trains and big boy stuff down there so he can have big boy time without Kyla trying to butt in. He likes it!!
Today we went to an event in Lowell, MA. They’ve been having free kid events for the past few weeks and we made it to an acrobatic show. Preston and his friend thought it was hilarious along with all the other kids in the auditorium. It even held Kyla’s attention! They balanced a lot of stuff on their noses, mime stuff and did disappearing illusions. It was silly and the kids loved it.
We then returned home and Preston’s friend stayed for the afternoon. This was Preston’s first time having a friend over just for fun, no playgroup or what not. He had a lot of fun and can’t wait to do it again.
Jarod’s baseball team won their game again last night. They are still first in their conference and have the best record out of all the league teams. So it looks like they will be going to the playoffs!
OH, Kyla’s started having great interest in the potty!! She tells me every time she wants to go, though it’s usually after she’s already gone in her diaper :0). Therefore we’re making lots of trips to the potty so hopefully we’ll have a successful one here soon!! Yay Kyla!!
